Get paid to bring brands to life—in two languages
Impulso staffs liquor store tastings, bar takeovers, and festival activations for spirits and beer brands chasing the U.S. Hispanic market. We hire bilingual brand ambassadors as W-2 employees — with transparent pay and an app that tracks every shift.

Why you're in demand
Benefits
Real employment, real pay, real flexibility
This isn't gig-app roulette. It's professional brand work with the protections of a job and the freedom of a schedule you control.
W-2 employment + workers' comp
You're hired as an employee, not pushed into 1099 paperwork. Taxes withheld and workers' compensation coverage on every shift — real protection for real event work.
Fast, transparent pay
The rate is on the shift card before you accept, and the earnings tracker shows what's pending and what's paid. No chasing invoices, no mystery math.
Flexible shifts
Evenings, weekends, festival season. You accept what fits your life and skip what doesn't — your schedule stays yours.
Top spirits & beer brands
Tequila, mezcal, imported beer: you represent the labels fighting for the U.S. Hispanic market, at liquor store tastings, bar takeovers, and festival pours.
Reliability earns more work
On-time GPS check-ins and complete recaps build your reliability score. The higher it climbs, the earlier you see new shifts — and the better the events you're offered.
Requirements
What we look for
Four requirements. If you check three and you're willing to get certified, apply anyway — we'll help you close the gap.
21 or older
Federal and state law: you must be at least 21 to serve or sample alcohol at any activation we staff. No exceptions, no workarounds.
Bilingual English / Spanish
You can pitch a reposado in English, switch to Spanish mid-sentence, and read which language each guest actually wants. That switch is the job — and it's why you're paid to do it.
RBS, TIPS, or TABC certified — or willing to get certified
Certification is required before you pour: RBS in California (mandatory since July 1, 2022 under AB 1221; valid 3 years), TABC in Texas (valid 2 years), BASSET in Illinois, TIPS in many other markets. Certifications don't transfer between states — apply anyway and we'll point you to the right one.
Professional, with a smartphone
Punctual, presentable, calm when the festival line is forty deep — and carrying a smartphone for GPS check-in, photo uploads, and your end-of-shift recap.
The process
From application to paycheck in five steps
No black box. Here's exactly what happens after you hit apply.
Apply
Seven quick fields below: who you are, where you work, which languages and certifications you hold. Two minutes, tops.
Verify certifications
We confirm your RBS, TIPS, or TABC credential. Not certified yet? We tell you exactly which one your state requires and how to get it.
Get matched
The app matches you to shifts by city, language, and credential — venue, brand, and pay visible before you accept.
Work & recap
GPS check-in at the venue, run the activation, then upload categorized photos and your recap before you leave the parking lot.
Get paid
Earnings land fast, and the tracker shows every line: rate, event pay, bonuses, status. The number you saw is the number you get.
Earnings transparency
You'll never wonder what a shift pays
Rates vary by market, event type, and certification — so instead of advertising one number, we show you the real one, on every shift card, before you commit to anything.
The number you see in the app is the number on your W-2 paycheck.
What you see before you accept
Your rate
Hourly or per-event, printed on the shift card before you tap accept.
Per-event pay
The full payout for that shift — a number, not a vague range.
Bonuses, in writing
Performance bonuses live in the app, spelled out — never promised verbally at the venue.
Payment status
Pending, processing, paid: the earnings tracker keeps your running total by week and by event.
The staff app
One app runs your whole shift
Everything lives in one place — and because it's the same platform brands use to verify the work, every clean check-in and complete recap builds your reputation where it counts.
GPS check-in
Check in from the venue and your shift is verified instantly — protecting your pay and feeding your reliability score.
Event details
Venue, brand, talking points, dress code, and your on-site contact on one screen. No email archaeology.
Training modules
Brand stories and compliance refreshers you complete before the shift — so you walk in sounding like you've poured that label for years.
Photo upload
Categorized, timestamped photos go straight into the recap the brand sees. Your best work, on the record.
Earnings tracker
Every shift, every bonus, every payment status, with running totals. The math is always done and always visible.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be certified before I apply?
No. Apply with whatever you hold — including nothing yet. If you're willing to get certified, we'll point you to the credential your state requires: RBS in California (mandatory since July 1, 2022 under AB 1221; valid 3 years), TABC in Texas (valid 2 years), BASSET in Illinois, or TIPS in many other markets. Keep in mind certifications don't transfer between states, and you can't pour at a shift until yours is verified.
How much does it pay?
Rates vary by market, event type, and certification, so we don't advertise one number — we show you the real one. Every shift card in the app displays the rate, the per-event pay, and any bonuses before you accept, and your earnings tracker keeps the running total. The number you see in the app is the number on your paycheck.
Is this W-2 employment or 1099 contract work?
W-2, full stop. You're hired as an employee with taxes withheld and workers' compensation coverage on every shift. We don't reclassify ambassadors as 1099 contractors to cut costs — the protections are part of the offer.
How do I get shifts?
Once your certifications are verified, the app matches you to shifts by city, language, and credential. Each match shows the venue, the brand, the details, and the pay — you accept what fits and skip what doesn't. Strong reliability means you see new shifts before anyone else.
What is the reliability score and how does it earn me more work?
It's your track record in the app: on-time GPS check-ins, complete recaps with photos, and professional conduct on site. Brands ask for ambassadors who deliver, so a high score gets you first access to new shifts and the better events. It's how showing up well turns into getting booked more.
Do I need a car or my own tasting table?
Your event details in the app spell out exactly what's provided and what to bring — when a shift needs a tasting kit or table, the listing says so before you accept. As for a car: you need reliable transportation to the venue, and a car helps in spread-out markets, but what actually matters is arriving on time, every time.
